How to receive money with Western Union:

Step 1. Fill out a 'To Receive Money' form at a Western Union ® Agent Location.

Step 2. Give the form, current government-issued photo ID and 10-digit MTCN to the Agent clerk.

Step 3. Agent clerk will give the money in cash or cheque, and a receipt.

Notes
Use of debit card, Visa or Mastercard depends on services available at the Agent location. Not all agents offer all services
You may be asked to provide additional information prior to approval of your transaction
You may be asked to call Customer Service at 1-877-989-3268 to complete your transaction
When your payment is approved, the transaction will be sent. Once the money has been transferred, the receiver may pick up the funds
You can click on Transfer Status to find out if the funds have been picked up.
Funds availability is based on approved transactions and the hours of operation at the receiving Agent location
Do not use Western Union directly or indirectly to fund illegal Internet gambling and/or illegal activity
